Literature Text
As you stand up and look ahead, you see paths,
a billion to the right.
A billion to the left.
You take one seated to the right,
a path colored with the glow of a rainbow.
which slowly turns dark and foul.
A mist thickens and you feel your spirit being crushed,
your lungs empties and your heartbeat becomes more faint than the stars above,
and you collapse to the ground.
Eons go by and the mist only thickens,
and the one sliver of hope left grows ever smaller.
Consumed by the crushing mist.
You open your eyes and look ahead.
To the right there's a billion forking paths,
and to the left there's a billion more.
You choose one to the left,
and start to jog along it.
And you leave the smothering fog.
Along the road you see plaques,
saying familiar words and numbers.
"Relationship: On the road to zero"
You slow down and look over to the side,
and gazing back at you is a large cloud,
of soul-crushing fog. And at the center you see you.
The natural reaction is to shake your head and run,
run and not looking back, to run like hell.
The natural reaction is to run to hell.
With closed eyes and clenched fists you bolt past everything,
the roads fork and the roads become directionless.
There are a billion paths to the right, and a billion paths to the left.
But you trip and look up,
and see that you found yourself in the middle of nowhere,
alone and exhausted.
You didn't know it was like this,
living, breathing, running,
it wasn't supposed to be so hard!
You feel your soul being crushed,
as a thick fog roll over you,
and you collapse.
As you stand up you look ahead -
and see infinite and directionless roads.
Billions to the right, and billions to the left.
You take one to the left,
and start to walk all over again.
And the plaques read new words.
"Again, and again, and again..."
a billion to the right.

Literature
A Moment
Place your hand over mine
Look me in the eye
Open my soul up and
Let it all unwind
Leave me dangling from a string
Wrapped around you, wrapped around my heart
Stretching, pulling,
Snapping
So what are you and I gonna do, my dear?
Literature
TheAfterWhys.
I know now,
that the muffled pressure in the dark space
of your car was us screaming into the silence:
I don't really know you,
but I want to.
I want to love you.
We were so so wrong for each other.
I know now,
that the drip burn of candle wax on the back of my hand
was you saying:
It hurts.
This not-quite-fitting-together,
but wanting it so much.
I know now,
that the sound of your receding footsteps
are louder than whispered cries of:
Stay. Please.
And I know why.
I know why we were silent
when we should have screamed.
I know why we could never,
would never, fit together.
I know all of the whys,
now.
After.
Literature
In His Strength Alone
Though the battle is sore heated,
My heart feeble and faint.
With You all are defeated,
Your perfect love to paint.
A frail coward, Lord, am I,
without you by my side.
In You alone my heart relies,
In Your strength will I abide.
You comfort and renew me,
I need not fear the danger.
Your face is all I choose to see,
I seek not out a stranger.
Your strength is as a mighty wind,
You turn all foes to dust.
In your arms my strength begins,
In You, God, will I trust.

This is the first poem I have published, and I am hoping it meets good standards. I was inspired to write it, when I compared life to a journey.

Another beautiful poem! (Which anyone can relate with ^^)
So many paths... I find making choice the toughest
Because once you choose something, you have to keep going with it
